No golf, no problem – Kansas City hickory duo make music to uplift their community

Kansas City Area Hickory Golf members Mike Needleman and son, Mikey, had high hopes of playing together at the hickory group’s inaugural Match Play Tournament this April. But just as several other events have had to cancel due to the coronavirus, so, too, Kansas, and the father and son duo must wait until next year to test their hickory play in Kansas City.

The hickory golf might be on hiatus, but the guys switched from hickory sticks to guitars and decided to offer a little something to their community. The father-son duo is teaming up to uplift spirits by providing music to area assisted living facilities and the like. They’ll be playing together after all.

Thanks for the happy sounds, Needlemans. You guys absolutely rock! It’s a match where no one loses.
