Craig Wood – ’41 Masters champ featured on Talkingolf podcast

Guest George Petro joined Warren Rogan and host Connor Lewis on the TalkinGolf podcast for a discussion of golf’s “Blonde Bomber,” Craig Wood. Petro and Lewis are GHS board members.

The podcast, No. 65 of Lewis’ TalkinGolf series, was a collaboration with Rogan and his Sports’ Forgotten Heroes podcast series. It aired on March 21, 2021, just before the 2021 Masters.

The three gentlemen discuss the life and career of Wood who won the first two majors of 1941 – the Masters and the U.S. Open. He notched 21 wins during his PGA career, from 1928 to 1944.
