Columbus, Ohio – the place for golf course architecture

Tom Weiskopf and Dr. Michael Hurdzan spoke with Morning Read writers about why Columbus, Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament (in the suburb of Dublin, Ohio) is a great spot to study great course designs. All around the city are samples from Donald Ross, Alister MacKenzie, Pete Dye, and Jack Nicklaus. Plus, as most GHS members know, Dr. Hurdzan’s golf museum is nearby, too, and a tour of that fabulous collection is not to be missed should the opportunity arise. (As it often does during the Winter Trade Show. See the Events page for info.) Click here to see the story on the Morning Read.
