Golf Autograph Collecting
Uncover the Joy of Collecting
Why Collect Golf Autographs?
Obtaining your favorite golfer’s autograph in person is always a delight and a cherished memory. When that’s not possible there are numerous sources to fill that need, but making sure it’s authentic is always a priority.
There are signed balls, gloves, photos, tickets, flags, programs, letters, books, sports cards, etc. Signed items by Old Tom Morris and Bobby Jones have long been at the pinnacle but Tiger has joined and sometimes surpasses them on the list.
If your goal is to collect balls signed by every Master’s winner, you might be surprised that a ball signed by 1941 champion Craig Wood ball went for $22,000 given he signed very few.
Items signed during a players prime bring much more than one later in life. “Debut” tournament tickets and flags signed by elite golf winners have skyrocketed of late. It’s all great Fun!
